Stone Hill – Photo, Art Evans
This easy hike of about two hours will take you on the new Stone Hill trail network, and end with a descent through an open meadow overlooking the Green Mountains to the north. Williams College Geoscience Professor Bud Wobus will illustrate the geological story of Stone Hill and vicinity along with other natural features along the hike, emphasizing the significance of Lake Bascom from prehistoric times.

Meet at the Lunder Center parking area at The Clark on South St. in Williamstown at 9:00 am. The Lunder Center is south and uphill of the main museum. Hikers are advised to wear sturdy boots and to bring water, sunscreen, and a snack. No need to sign up.  Severe weather cancels.
